The Flow Micron crew made the trek from all across the USA to Mammoth, Ca. for the Volcom Peanut Butter Rail Jam Finals. Flow had eleven microns that had qualified into the finals from their own respected territories. With Jack Herald taking 1st and Benny Milam taking third in 15 and under, we were proud of all the kids that had made it for the finals. In this edit we take a few hot laps and mix it in with the Volcom PBRJ and Actives Bro Down Showdown for a few minutes of micron excitement. Volcom has produced a 5 episodes mini-series with their team riders Coco Ho, Elena Hight, Quincy Davis, Claire Bevilacqua and Lyn-Z Adams Hawkins Pastrana (who graced our cover last summer as you surely remember) visiting beautiful Costa Rica. One could look up on Wikipedia and find that Costa Rica is a country in Central America bordered by Panama and Nicaragua, the Pacific Ocean and the Caribbean Sea. A country with almost 20,000 square miles of land mass and just over 4 million people. We want to show you what WE did in Costa Rica… Last Fall we took our top Volcom team riders from surf, skate and snow to the beautiful land of Costa Rica to surf, explore, eat, laugh, have fun and zen out in this amazing country. Coco Ho, Elena Hight, Quincy Davis, Lyn-z Adams Hawkins Pastrana and Claire Bevilacqua spent 8 days in the country of monkeys and dolphins which turned into a 5-part web series depicting their journey! European VQS VOLCOMANIA Championships 2012: Hossegor

The Royal Rumble of the 2011-2012 European VQS tour went down last weekend in Hossegor. Good waves, heavy rain, chair smashing, the beach of Culs nus has seen it all! The contest gathered all the surfers that qualified over the 2011-2012 Volcom Qualifying Series in Europe; they came from North Ireland, Canary Islands, France, UK, Spain, Portugal and even Norway to battle for the VQS title, hunt for tubes, get a shot at the 5000€ prize money and some spots and trips to the World VQS champs in Newport Beach, California. Here is photo report of what went down during those two days of Volcomania! Million thanks to the surfers, families who made the journey to Hossegor, to the staff and our friends and VQS support that helped us organize this contest and stoke the kids.
