Meet Ashton: The 22 Month Old Who’s Already Riding Rails

How long will it be before a twinkle in someone's eye wins gold?

The average age of pro snowboarders is getting younger and younger. At 21, our pal Jamie Nichols is a mere spring chicken in the real world, but on the slopes, he’s middle aged.

Then there’s Chloe Kim, the X Games gold medalist who, at just 14, can still get on a bus for half fare. But even she has nothing on Ashton.

At just 22 months old, he’d already completed a season on the snow. Even scarier is that he’s already hitting rails! Granted, it’s with a little bit of help from his dad, but let’s not be picky about it. After all, what were you going at 22 months old?

If you’re anything like us, it was wondering why marmalade is so orangey, or why the dog didn’t like being coloured in with crayons.

This video’s actually a few years old now, so we fully expect Ashton to be a quad-cork machine by now, with one eye on the 2022 Olympics, and the other on a lucrative video game deal.
