We all want to travel as much as possible before the oil runs out. But we also want to pay as little for travel as we can, so the airlines have to think of evermore ingenious ways to cram as many of us as space will allow onto each flight.
Hats off then to Airbus who have recently patented the stacking arrangement you see above and below, which reminds us a little of the way sheep are transported on motorways.
It actually looks quite fun, especially if you’re sitting in seats 14 and 32, as you can watch fellow passengers’ movies beneath your feet or if you’re feeling cheeky sprinkle breadcrumbs in their hair while they sleep.
The gif above, which looks like a strange kind of inflight exercise cult, is thought to explain how the upper seat passengers extend their legroom.
