Pastrana is the granddaddy of Freestyle Motocross. For the first three years of MX Freestyle’s inclusion in the X-Games no one came close to winning it. On 2002 his grip was broken as he could not compete due to injury. The next year normal service was resumed and still holds the record for the highest Freestyle score at the competition with a 99.00.
Pastrana was the first man to complete the double backflip and has continued to push the boundaries of what’s possible on two wheels. Having won everything on offer at the X-Games on two wheels and four he’s expanded his empire with his incredible travelling Nitro Circus.
