Gee Atherton’s POV of His Cairns Run – Downhill Mountain Bike World Cup 2014

Wow, it looks wet doesn't it?

Gee Atherton, widely regarded as Britain’s best hope at taking the Downhill Mountain Bike World Championship this year, has just posted this POV video of his run from the most recent competition in Cairns, Australia.

It shows you how crazily wet the course was, and how much effort the riders have to put in to get down in one piece!

In the end this run was enough for Gee to beat his rivals Aaron Gwin and the local “Sick” mick Hannah to the top place on the Cairns podium. Something to do with being used to wet conditions in the UK perhaps?
