This Sculpture May Look Like A Dead Animal's Head, But It's Actually Way More Mental...

This Irish sculptor made the most of his worn rubber, but he's not the only artist to take on the world of cycling...

Most people just ditch their old tyres when they become worn out. Not Mick Davis.

This Irish sculptor has been taking his used rubber (no, not that kind) and transforming it into some seriously ominous art – turning tyres into the heads of animals.

The sculptures are mental, but Davis isn’t the only artist to have taken inspiration from the world of cycling. We’ve featured the artist’s work below alongside an array of other bike art that’s pretty insane…

We’ll start off with our the image up top, Mick Davis’ Dragon’s Head.

Which is not nearly as odd as this Walking Bike from Max Wright Design…

Nor as badass as this skeleton bike made by Jud Turner in 2008.

But it would seem that both of those can be topped by some of the crazy bike paintings out there. Like this one, from Neil Carey:

And the aptly named ‘Hippo Post Man on Cycle’ by Martin Davey:

And of course, we can’t forget Otto’s Sweet Ride by Brian Kesinger…
