This incredible footage shows Jamie O’Brien riding the monster Teahupo’o wave, while holding a drone. And why wouldn’t he?
After all, when you’re surfing one of the most difficult and deadliest waves in the world, it’s perfectly normal behaviour to hold a drone, with it’s several spinning rotor blades really close to your face.
In fairness, the American surfer did crop up pretty close to the lethal Banzai pipeline in Hawaii, so he’s used to surfing right on the edge.
