Lightning Strike Ignites 800k Gallons of Jim Beam, Creating Whiskey ‘Firenado’ from Hell

Watch: This natural disaster is the perfect metaphor for your Saturday night...

Picture the scene. A strike of lightning comes down, blasting a Jim Beam warehouse and unleashing 800,000 gallons of bourbon whiskey into a nearby pond. The alcohol immediately goes up in flames and the pond is soon overtaken by a rapturous ‘firenado’.

We know exactly what you’re thinking. We thought the same. This sounds a lot more like a metaphor for your disastrous Saturday night than something that could ever actually happen in real life, but alas, we sh*t you not, this is actually genuine news.

Have a look at the madness in the footage below. Rumour has it, legions of debt-heavy college freshman have since run out to the warehouse and bottled the bourbon fire water for parties later this week.

This rumour has yet to be confirmed, possibly due to the fact that we just made it up.
