What Do You Get When You Cross A Snowboard And A Bike?…

The snowboard bike has been invented. We're just not sure why

Have you ever wanted to snowboard on a bike? No, neither have we. But now you can anyway, thanks to Irish inventor Michael Killian.

Killian has made a bike that travels sideways, mimicking the left-to-right motion of a snowboard, as opposed to the regular front-to-back of a bike.

On his website, the inventor suggests that this snowboard-like balance allows for greater control and balance that’s easier to fine-tune. Having not tried it, we’ll have to take his word for it. We can’t help but feel, however, a heel-edge turn could get sketchy if it starts to go wrong.
