Why Did This Olympic Snowboarder Give Up Everything to Live Like a Hobo?

Watch this former Boarder Cross Olympian abandon the 'normal life' in search of adventure

When you think of Olympic snowboarders, the name Trevor Jacob probably isn’t the first to spring to mind.

However, the 22 year old Boarder Cross rider who represented the USA at the 2014 winter games, finishing ninth in Sochi, has done something not just other snowboarders, but what anybody with the spirit of adventure running through their veins would envy.

He went off the grid, cut up his credit card, and decided to go where the road took him, with nothing but his GoPro, his skateboard and, as it turned out, not enough water.
