T’ Tour D’ France: 25 People Saying ‘Le Tour de France’ In A Yorkshire Accent

Ey up!

When the Giro D’Italia went through Ireland earlier this year, our ears were treated to the sound of Belfastians boldly shouting “GYRO DE ITALY” on the roadside. It was brilliant.

So, we thought it would be a great idea to record the gorgeous and sometimes hilarious intonations of Yorkshire men and women this weekend.

We set up in Ilkley, about 20 miles from Leeds, and asked 25 people to say “Le Tour de France” into the camera.

We would have asked them about the cycling too, but let’s face it, we’d all been drinking Buck’s Fizz since about 9am.
