Who’d Win In A Race Between Top Gear’s Stig And Snowboarding God Terje Håkonsen

They say he works for Top Gear, and that he just raced the Norwegian Winter Olympics team. All we know is... This race makes no sense whatsoever

Some say he just beat a crew of Norwegian winter sport champions. All we know, is he is called The Stig.

Who’d win in a race between some of Norway’s elite winer sports stars and The Stig – the faceless manifestation of unsustainable right wing bullshit and hero to nobody but utterly abject cunts from motoring show Top Gear? It’s an age old question that’s finally been answered by BBC Brit.

Despite sounding like an ITV3 show about Paris Hilton trying to find a British friend, BBC Brit is actually a global channel that shows a combination of the best, and the most popular BBC tv shows.

To promote the channel in Norway, the Beeb arranged a Top Gear style challenge, where The Stig would race around a track, while the likes of  snowboard demi-god Terje Håkonsen, cross country skier Therese Johaug, and Emil Hegle Svendsen who does that skiing/shooting lark do their stuff in relay.

Much like every Top Gear challenge, it’s kind of cool to watch with it’s slow motion, heavy filters, and close ups of stuff happening, but it’s made ultimately pointless by virtue of the fact it’s clearly no real form of race. It’s just people arsing about. Even old old pal Terje manages to grab the least stylish Inde of his career.
