Throwback: When Your Favourite Big Mountain Riders Dropped Huge in Argentina for ‘Where the Trail Ends’

Going large with Lacondeguy, Berrecloth, Sorge, Zink and more...

Today we bring you one from the archives to get you super stoked for mountain biking and brighten your spirits, even at the start of the week when it’s dull outside and you’d rather be bashing your head off a wall than be stuck inside at the office.

This is the Argentina bonus segment from the iconic release “Where the Trail Ends”, one of the greatest mountain bike movies to drop in recent memory.

Yes, it’s been over three years since the film dropped, but this segment got uploaded to YouTube again in the past week or so, and we couldn’t help but bring it to your attention. It’s a damn fine watch.

Bare slopes, big drops, unique features and some of the best riders of all time. We’re talking Darren Berrecloth, Andreu Lacondeguy, Kurt Sorge, Cam Zink, Robbie Bourdon, Mike Kinrade.

The feature captures what the crew got up to on their last few days in the area, after some sweet raw cuts between some of the earlier runs, including a fairly gnarly POV from Lacondeguy.

Berrecloth taking on huge mountain lines, Bourdon sending himself down one hell of a terrifying drop line, and the rest of the guys just doing what they do. Need we say any more?

Just in case you didn’t get the feel of just quite how gnarly that Bourdon line was at the end, either, check out this video, where he crashes hard trying exactly the same thing.

This is g-n-a-r-l-y:
