This Famous Ski Resort Has Started Giving Speeding Tickets To Skiers

A speeding ticket for skiing? This must be the most ridiculous resort ruling ever...

In what is quite possibly the most ridiculous story we’ve heard all week, Vail Resorts over in the States have started giving out speeding tickets to skiers.

Yes, you read that right. Speeding tickets.

In what seems to be the latest attempt to remove the enjoyment from spending time on the slopes, you could now be punished with warnings and even the removal of your pass for “speeding in a slow zone” on the pistes, a somewhat outrageous ruling.

There are endless ‘what ifs’ and ‘buts’ that make this ruling ridiculous, but possibly worst of all is the fact that if you do get your pass revoked, you “MUST call to reserve a seat in the [resort] Safety Awareness Class” before you get it back.

We’re picturing an old dude slapping a blackboard with a big stick and shouting: “Don’t go fast kids. You could fall over.”

Is this the worst resort ruling you’ve ever head? Let us know your thoughts…
