Jed Anderson is a prodigiously talented jibber who has inspired riders all over the globe. Full of natural talent and invention, Jed has shunned the competition circuit in favour of destroying rails all over the world. Anderson was picked up as a youngster by the Forum Youngblood team. He impressed on tour and in contests but quickly tired of it and withdrew form Snowboarding. He studied Sculpture at the New York School of Visual Arts in a continuing education course and over time returned to the streets of his native Calgary with his board. His comeback was complete when he won his one and only competition - the Burton Canadian Open in 2009 - when he dispatched an impressive field in the halfpipe competition to claim top spot. Jed returned to the streets and this is the environment where he now does his best work. His talent has been showcased in numerous film parts and also his own movie in 2012 with Nike, called 'In Full.' The young Canadian has a much copied style. He rides regular and goofy with equal ease and panache. His approach to to rail riding is technical and innovative and oozes natural talent - he can even pull off front-flips by mistake. No rail is safe when Jed is around.
