Pat Casey

19-year-old California native Pat Casey is already one of the top contenders on the competition circuit, with a couple of original moves to his credit - the double decade and the flip decade. A member of the Haro team since 2012, his first pro contest was the ASA Triples event when he was 14, an event he still competes in each year. The highlight of his career to date came in 2013, when he emerged victorious from one of the biggest BMX dirt competitions of them all - Red Bull Dreamline in Angel Fire, New Mexico. Only originally invited as an alternate, Pat took many onlookers by surprise, pipping relative veterans TJ Ellis and Kyle Baldock to take the top prize. He adapted to the course quickly and threw some of the biggest tricks of the event, like a truckdriver to double tailwhip. Born in 1993 in Yorba Linda, California, Pat was pushed into racing by his father at the age of five. He soon progressed to riding ramps and trails, and his favourite riding spots remain the nearby Chino Skatepark and trails in the local area. Pat’s video edits showcase aesthetically pleasing tricks, including massive flares, lightning fast spins, and body varials, and he has an amazing ability to link hard combinations together. With a natural talent of keeping his back wheel off the ground and the ability to boost a quarter pipe, he seems more than capable of coping with the pressure put on his young shoulders.
