Brit Sam Reynolds is a super-talented freeride and slopestyle rider. His first major competition results came in 2010, but it was in 2011 that his skills became known to a wider audience as he took the competition scene across Europe by storm, with a series of impressive results including a victory at the Balaton Bike Fest in Balatonfüred, Hungary. He finished the year 15th overall on the FMB World Tour.
2012 began strongly with victory at the Monster Energy White Style competition in Leogang, Austria, but disaster struck in July when he over-rotated a double flip during Crankworx Les 2 Alpes and broke his back. He cemented his recovery later in the year by releasing an impressive video edit showing off all his best skills in perfect working order, and he finished eleventh on the world tour in 2013.
Sam was born on 4th June 1991 in the Hampshire town of Fleet. At home in the woods flowing his local trails, Reynolds can also be seen touring Europe with the Master Of Dirt crew. Always up for a laugh, Sam is constantly making new videos and having the most fun he can.
His favourite trick is the frontflip, but he is most famous for being one of the few riders on the tour to regularly land the double flip, often on 50ft jumps. For his winning run at 2012 White Style, Sam nailed a perfect double backflip, the first of its kind ever landed at the contest.
