The French-Canadian snowboarder, Sebastien Toutant, burst onto the scene with an incredible snowboarding debut back in 2006. Aged just 13, he entered, and won the Empire Shakedown Big Air contest in Canada. He beat an assortment of seasoned pros and walked away with a cheque for $10,000. In 2011, Toutant won the Men’s Slopestyle contest at the World X Games at the age 18, scoring a Winter X-Games record of 97 on his very first run in the final. He also won a silver medal in the Snowboard Big Air Competition that same year and became the third person to ever land a backside triple cork 1440. Sebastien was born on November 9, 1992 in Montreal, Canada. Originally a keen skier, he was forced to take up snowboarding using one of his brother's old boards. Luckily for him and snowboarding, Seb took to it and was hooked. Toutant's style combines fun, excitement and extreme stunts and he continues to enter Winter X Games and Slopestyle competitions to show off his amazing talents. With raw ambition like his the only direction to go is up.
