BMXer Kriss Kyle and Rollerblader Scott Quinn Are Best Mates. We Went to Unit 23 Skatepark To Ask What They Think About Each Other’s Sports…

From rivalry and bromance to dropping quarter-pipes in a tractor tyre

Kriss Kyle is a professional BMXer for Nike, BSD, Red Bull and more who took over the internet last November with the epic ‘Kaleidoscope’ edit.

Scott Quinn is a professional rollerblader sponsored by Razor skates, and is quickly becoming a regular feature alongside the likes of Alain Baxter on the lightning paced Red Bull Crashed Ice tour.

Despite living in a world where rollerbladers and BMXers are more accustomed to shouting at each other than they are making small talk, Kriss and Scott have somehow defied all odds and been best friends for almost 10 years.

It’s a true Romeo and Juliet story. Except without the kissing or death or grandiose speeches about the moon and the sun. To be honest, it’s not that much like Romeo and Juliet.

Anyway, we met up with the duo at Unit 23 skatepark in Dumbarton, Scotland, the largest indoor park in Britain and a place that Scott and Kriss have pretty much called home for as long as they’ve known each other.

What do they really think of each other’s sport? Could they really be friends while riding rollerblades and BMX? What’s the most ridiculous thing they’ve ever done at Unit 23? Hit the video to find out.
