About Colin Mackay
Colin Mackay is a BMX rider born in 1978 in Queensland, Australia and was one of the first riders from his home country to compete in American biking competitions. He was very successful during these competitions and has won several street and dirt contests across the world. He started competitive riding in 1990 and made a permanent move to the US in 1999. This BMX rider performs best when he is under pressure.
In 2003, he took part in the Asian X Games in Malaysia and came in first. During the same year, he also participated in the King of Dirt/Core Tour and took second position. Colin Mackay has taken part in the Asian X Games for several years and he always has a podium finish. He also participated in the Dew Tour, CFB, LG Action, VTC, BMX Worlds and Roots Jam.
Over the years, Colin Mackay has had various accomplishments including appearing in a video game called DM2 and being on the cover of Ride Magazine. His favorite BMX dirt riders include Cam White, Nasty, Hucker and TJ Ellis.
