One of the biggest contributors to the innovations of BMX bike tricks is none other than the wheel axle pegs. When pegs first came out in the late 1970's and early 1980's they seemed awkward. These days though peg tricks are part of an eltie riders aresenal and the tricks are ever more so growing.

There are so many different peg tricks that you just cannot sit and name them all. Most pegs come into a 3 inch or so variety and they can be used with the feet to manuver the bike through the air. Street freestyle riders use the pegs to bunnyhop and do front and back wheel hops while bracing themselves on the pegs. Peg tricks are very fun to watch and have definitely added to the allure of BMX tricks.
