Round 5 of the UCI World Cup will involve both downhill and 4X, and will take place at Val Di Sole, situated in the Dolomite mountain range of northern Italy. Many of you will know that this course was where the thrilling 2008 World Championships went down, which saw Gee Atherton win after Sam Hill went down within sight of the finish line. Hill will be back with something to prove, and Atherton will obviously want to seize the title once more.

The course can be best described as rocky, rough, high speed, extremely physical, slippery when wet and rewarding to strong riders, who are not afraid to go all out.
