A long standing fixture on the U.S. contest calendar, this year is a special occasion as it is the last time the event will include a vert contest at the current location, as the 17yr old vert ramp is being torn down. We've been told to expect skate-superstars attend a monumental last ever session on the ramp before it gets sent to the plywood graveyard in the sky.
Held at the ever-changing skatepark of tampa, the event operates a traditional system of qualification brackets and 2 minute runs, as well as having had some mental best trick contests over the years. The guy to beat is Greg Lutzka having won the street comp 3 times ( in 2006, 2008 and 2009), and with other winners have included such legends as Eric Koston and Dennis Busenitz, this event truly represents high calibre skateboarding.
