BMC have gained a reputation for producing bikes which break away from the mould. Their unique frame designs offer the road biker something different in looks and performance. The Team Machine SLR01 is BMC's uncompromising, ultimate performance focused road bike, perfect for the rider who wants out and out speed without worrying too much about a budget.

The SLR01 is made using nothing but the best materials. The frame is made out of carbon fibre and BMC have tuned the weave of this to give you the ultimate in rigidity, lightweight and comfort. By using different tube sizes BMC have made the SLR01 give great power transfer and handling, using larger profile tubing on the front end, whilst damping the road vibrations, thin stays at the back. The weave of the carbon used on the seat stays, seat post and oversized fork has allowed for maximum vertical compliance. This gives the SLR01 a silky smooth ride and saves you energy.

To increase the performance BMC have made it with a BB30 compatible bottom bracket. BB30 gives you better power transfer from the pedals. They have also used a tapered steerer tube on the fork to increase stiffness, giving the bike bullet-fast handling. Another nice design is the BMC designed Angle Lock System. This is an elastomer controlled, one bolt seat post clamp. By simplifying the system BMC have reduced weight and made seat height adjustment a breeze.

Keeping with the ultimate performance theme, BMC have also used nothing but the best for their finishing kit. The SLR01 comes with a full SRAM Red drivetrain, lightweight Easton wheels and other lightweight parts from Easton.
