ABOUT ME: It all started really small. We were selling our first boards out of the restrooms of my dad?s skirental. Then in 1995, I (Stoffl, a.k.a. Christoph Huber) started the shop with my brother Phillip in our hometown of Gerlos, Austria. The shop had a testcenter, which helped us a lot at the beginning and still does. 2007 Through our Test Center at Tux, our staff has the opportunity to ride a wide range of gear year-round, so we know what?s hot and what?s not. In 2001, Gery Margreiter designed and executed the original shop homepage, which sparked the idea of online sales. In 2003, the website evolved to www.hot-zone.tv for online sales, featuring English and German language chooser. In 2005, right off the main street of Gerlos, a shop opened at Isskogelbahn. Snowboard rental is available at the bottom station, and service and depot is also available at the top station of the lift, which saves time. The Hot-Zone dude was born on Aug. 8th, of 05. He attends all the major events to spread the word of Hot-Zone. In 2006, we moved into the new Hot-Zone Headquarter, with 800 sq. metres of floor space to host our sales floor, demo center, also our online sales and customer service team. For 2007, Hot-Zone.tv will see another upgrade, to meet the needs of our world wide customer base.
