Competition Rules

1. This competition is offered by Factory Media Ltd. It is open to anyone with Facebook or MPORA account who is at least 16 years of age. Employees and agents of Factory Media Ltd and/or its affiliated companies and family members of such employees are not eligible to enter.

2. The competition give away will begin at 3pm BST on Sunday 31st January 23, 2010 and finishes at 5pm on Friday 12th March 2010.

3. Six Macbook prizes will be available, one per week for each of the six weeks of the competition. Winners will be chosen at the end of each week. Winners will be announced at around 3pm each Friday day on the @MPORA Twitter stream and at http://mpora.com. Daily prizes will be announced in the same way at 3pm every day.

4. For the first five weeks the prize is a brand new Macbook and in addition a daily prize will be given away from Monday to Thursday as donated by one of our competition sponsors. The sixth Friday Macbook book prize will be given away with an additional mystery prize on the final Friday. The Macbook will be purchased on your behalf and will be shipped to your door anywhere in the world (we will endeavor to buy the correct version for your region, but in some cases this maybe impossible, in which case we will give winners the option of taking a cash equivalent or a different regional version). You must be able to prove ownership of the winning entry and your shipping address. We will dispatch the prize within 30 days of the competition closing date. All prizes must be claimed within 60 days of the closing date of the competition. Editors decision is final.

5. To enter the competition you must undertake one of the following actions on MPORA as defined below:

• Register an account
• Invite Friends to join MPORA
• Find new friends within MPORA
• Share content from MPORA through MPORA, Facebook, Digg using the on site buttons
• Upload any content (videos and photos)
• Comment on a wall
• Posting content into a wall
• Creating or joining a group on MPORA
• You don't have to be a registered user or customer of MPORA to enter. No purchase is necessary.

6. You can enter as many times as you like (though entries using automated scripts will be disqualified), and entries during different 24 hour periods will be entered into the competition for daily prizes but will also count towards the weekly Friday Macbook prize. So enter again when one period closes and another begins.

7. We will choose daily winners randomly from all the entries within a particular 24-hour period ending 3pm each day and weekly winners at the same time for the weekly Macbook prize. We will announce winners from our twitter account @MPORA at around 3pm every day (so keep checking to see if you’ve won). The winner will be determined at random by computer algorithm.

8. Entrants' personal details will be used by Factory Media Ltd strictly in accordance with Factory Media Ltd’s and MPORA’s privacy policy which can be viewed at http://mpora.com/about/privacy/.

9. Neither MPORA nor its affiliated companies shall have any liability for (i) any technical failures of any kind, including but not limited to malfunctions, interruptions or disconnections in phone lines or network hardware or software; (ii) technical or human error which may occur in the administration of the competition; (iii) any malfunction of or damage to the prizes; or (iv) any restrictions or delays imposed by any customs authorities or any import or other taxes of any kind imposed by any taxation authority in respect of the prizes.

10. These competition terms and conditions form part of and included MPORA website’s general terms and conditions that can be viewed at http://mpora.com/about/terms/. All these terms and conditions are governed by the laws of England and Wales and are subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the English courts.
