About Adam Brayton

Professional mountain biker Adam Brayton was born on October 10, 1988 in Great Britain. He has been mountain biking for the past six years and has been racing for the past four. Once an electrician, he now focuses completely on mountain biking.

Adam Brayton entered the professional mountain biking world at age 19 by placing 6th in Champery and 31st in final standings at the World Cup race. In 2008, Adam signed with team Playbiker-Iron Horse, alongside Floriane Pugin from France. In 2009, Adam Brayton joined Ben Reid for the World Cup season.

Adam Brayton currently resides in Keswick, Lake District in England. He lists Chris Carmichael, Stefan Everts, Sam Hill, Steve Peat, and Nathan Rankin among his major biking influences. Always a fan of challenge, his favorite race track is the Schladming in Austria, where he ended a competition with a disqualification in 2007. Brayton's sponsors include e.thirteen components, Formula Brakes, Insight Productions, Iron Horse Bicycles, Kenda and Funn, and UFO Plast.
