Cameron Cole was originally born in Waitara, Taranaki, New Zealand. He latched on to the sport of BMX biking at the tender age of 3 and continued to perfect his skills in the sport until he turned 17. He then took on the challenge of Downhill bikes and his fame and passion for the sport has grown ever since.

Cameron Cole races on the World Cup circuit for Team Maxxis & Rocky Mountain. Today, Cameron lives with his girlfriend Amy Laird in Christchurch, New Zealand. His desire is to have many more productive years in the world of professional mountain biking. Cameron Cole loves to test and experiment with all of the latest mountain bikes that come onto the scene every year. Some of his all time favourite bikes are the Pestige 50 CR Road bike, KX 125 5, and an Altitude trail bike. His ultimate goal is to continue to be competitive for many more World Championships to come.
