Red Bull Canada is excited to announce the addition of freestyle mountain bike phenom, Anthony Messere to the athlete program. Anthony has been tearing up jumps and tracks around his home in Surrey, BC since he kicked the training wheels off his first bike. By the time he reached 10-years-old, Anthony was already being featured on industry websites and recognized as the next prodigy in mountain biking. Fast-forward 5 years, Anthony has progressed exponentially and worked hard to be the best he could be, simultaneously becoming one of the best in the world. In 2011, he squeaked into Red Bull Joyride in Whistler, BC and landed in 3rd place, sharing the podium with Red Bull Canada team mate Brandon Semenuk. Anthony’s 16th Birthday will mark a milestone in his journey as he joins the Red Bull ranks. “This is the beginning of my career and there’s a lot ahead of me – lots to look forward to. Top of the World - NEW Alpine Trail

Whistler Mountain Bike Park is expanding it's terrain and opening the Peak Chair for alpine mountain biking with the launch of the new Top of the World alpine trail. The new trail adds 1,091 feet of vertical to the Bike Park for a total of 4,946 feet and allows rider to experience Whistler's expansive and vast mountain environment that it's famous for. The new trail will open in late July 2012 and will have a maximum capacity of 100 riders per day with an additional cost of $15 per ride. Here's a little edit we put together over the summer months. We captured all our favorite playgrounds that we rode during the last couple of months. One definitely has to be our homebase, Bikepark Leogang. If you love fast bermy single track, make sure you check out the awesome trail riding in the upper park, in any case get a sneak preview right here. Big props go out to our friends at Bikepark Leogang for the awesome support of our crew and especially during the shooting. As much as we love riding trails we love to put in a hard days work to build new lines on our hometrail. This edit features some of the newly build sections in our backyard. Lastly of course every real Mountainbike addict will recognize the shots taken on the legendary lines in Whistler Bikepark. Just lately we visited our/everybody's favorite spot Whistler, BC.
