Episode 5 is the final instalment of Scottish Scene featuring the 5th round of the SDA series held at Innerleithen. The rain and sloppy mud resembles a round of the winter series rather than a race in September, but thats Scottish racing for you! Before heading to Inners we first check out the skills of Scott Laughland and Chris Hutchens. With both of them studying full time in Edinburgh it was a struggle to arrange a date when we were all free to film (and here was me thinking the student life was one big party!) Despite all of their studying and exams throughout 2011 they both put in some solid results at the races and can't wait for the 2012 season to get underway. Song 1: Illa J- DFTF (Instrumental). A quick video of highlights from the three races I managed to get to this year in Scotland. The third round of the Innerleithen Winter Series, the Glencoe round of the BDS, which was cancelled due to stormy weather and the Fort William World Cup (only there for Saturday practice). Shot at 50fps.

Christo Gallagher is a 18 year old rider from Edinburgh, Scotland. After several shoulder dislocations, he finally had surgery completed four months ago. We caught up with him for a couple of days shooting for a short promo. A perfect day at the trails in Braefoot was matched with two equally as horrible days at Innerleithen. First it was fog, heavy cloud and the lack of sunshine, then it was the typical Scottish winter with heavy rain, cold temperatures and surprisingly strong winds.
