The 1st installment of our 4 Part Artist Showcase in conjunction with Wax Poetics Magazine kicked off in a big way Thursday Night. 550+ people packed out the place for two amazing sets performed by two amazing artists, Afrika Bambaataa & Chico Mann, showcasing various musical styles including; electronic, funk, hip-hop, reggae, soul, and afro-beat. The Buzz & Stir this show created has us set up perfectly for Ms. Erykah Badu coming up in August! Her focus lately has been DJ?????ing, definitely something to be seen, will she sing?.. Skullcandy?????s own, NYC Metro Sales Rep, Young Big Mike opening for Badu with all wax, yes, we?????re talking about vinyl.
