Wow! I did this with a huge amount of help from my wife, eldest son Cameron ( absolutely invaluable), and so many more people involved throughout my journey,
The rosette I won is a truly team effort from so many people in Glasgow and many others all over the world that have given me endless advice and immaculate or new NOS parts for my build!
Ask the right questions to the right people and more often than not you will get the right answers.
First off huge thank you to my fantastic wife for letting me do this for two years and secondly my bro Peter who has helped me throughout the rebuild and did most of the paint on the bike :-)
Third up my eldest son Cameron who has played a massive supporting role during the days when I've been out working on the bike and coming home at 4 to get ready for work at 5 :-) thanks Cam,
Don at Devines Honda Glasgow has been a genius at the other end of a phone line for that hard to find bit!
And much respect to the now sadly passed away David Livesey who supplied a few choice parts from his bikes for me and an invaluable source of advice regarding evo class cr250's!
Allen Shaw of The Deming cycle centre Deming New Mexico who came up trumps for me with foot levers and so much more! Cheers Buddy hope all is well in Argentina! ;-)
Peter Robertson and Stuart of Robertson motorcycles Shawbridge arcade Glasgow took care of the engine and wheels for me and a fair few other little odds and ends.
My dream, my build and my rosette!
Thanks everyone!
