As a member of the Breckenridge Freeride Team from Summit County, Brown lives as well as trains in Breckenridge. When he is not competing, he spendsmost of his time during the off season in strength training and building muscles in the gym as well as practicing and creating new jumps, rotations and tricks on the tramps and the water ramp. Browns favorite trick is the Rodeo 5 Japan Nose and he loves spending time on the slopes.
From as early as sixth grade, Bobby Brown became interested in skiing and in January 2009, he graduated from the Cherry Creek High School in suburban Denver, Colorado with lofty goals of becoming a professional skier. This desire was quickly realized with his amazing breakout achievements in 2009, having won two major contests and being competitive in others.
Playing an important role in his life, Bobby Browns family, especially his dad, has provided him with support, which has allowed him to compete with mental and physical toughness.
Bobby Browns exceptional performance at the 2010 Winter Games earned him the honor of being nominated for the 2010 ESPY Male Action Sports Athlete of the Year Award. He has also appeared in a few films.
Bobby Brown's Career's Highlights
In 2003, Bobby Brown began participating in skiing events, but it was in 2008, when he started competing in the X Games, where he won the Slopestyle in Breckenridge, CO. At the New Zealand Open and Winter Games NZ, in Wanaka, NZL in 2009, Brown copped the top spots in the Slopestyle and Big Air events respectively. However, the highpoint of his career was at the 2010 Winter X
Games where he won two gold medals for the Mens Ski Slopestyle and Ski Big Air. In August 2010, he became the Junior World Champion for the Freeski Slopestyle.
