Since 2004, Chris Cole has dominated the street division of the large skateboarding competitions winning best street trick at the Tampa Pro, a gold medal in the street category at the 2005 Gravity Games, and a host of major awards. In addition to flips and street tricks, Chris Cole excels on skate park terrain, jumping gaps, and obstacles. Unlike many skaters, Cole is over six feet tall, yet he manages to execute intricate tricks with dexterity and consistency. Cole typically rides with a regular stance, but hes also known for using a switch stance flawlessly. While many riders begin by learning the ollie, Cole says this simple trick remains his favorite. In fact, many of his signature 360 flips and backside kick flips are complex variations of a basic ollie.

In addition to back-to-back gold medals from the X-Games, Chris Cole has been immortalized as an all-time skating legend with appearances in the skate video games as well as well as Zeros Dying to Live skate video and Bam Margeras CKY series. Chris Cole is one of two skaters to earn Thrasher Magazines Skater of the Year award twice. In 2005, Chris Cole was featured in a 16-page spread by the Skateboard Mag. Most reently, he won the Readers Choice Award from Transworld Skateboarding. Cole has also done extremely well at major competitions like the prestigious Maloof Cup where he won two consecutive events. In 2009, Chris Cole won numerous competitions, including the Vans Downtown Showdown, Battle at The Berrics 2, and the Mountain Dew-sponsored Dew Tour skateboarding segment. Chris Cole is most famous for landing his signature 360 flip on the famous Wallenberg stairs in San Francisco as well as the legendary stairs of the Carlsbad High School known as the Carlsbad gap.
