Hailing from the suburb of Toms River, New Jersey, Garrett Reynolds is one of the most prominent athletes in action sports. At 12 years old, Reynolds was already competing. Reynolds has a way of making even the most complicated tricks look simple. When he is not competing, Reynolds can be found listening to music or practicing photography. As a professional BMX rider, Reynolds is always keeping his fans on their feet and surprising them with each and every move he makes. Reynolds' sponsor is Premium Bicycles for who he designed a signature frame that he calls the "Deathtrap".

Reynolds' birthday is August 2, 1990 making him a Leo. At only 20 years old, he has become an icon in the world of action sports as well as a role model for younger teens looking to make it in professional sports. Two of his favorite tricks to perform are barspins which he started to do at the age of 13 and toothpick hangovers. At 5'6, Reynolds prefers a simple and small bike for competing. As far as his fears in terms of BMX, Reynolds does not look forward to crankarm grinds on rails. With the support of his mom, Jamie Reynolds, Garrett has been able to accomplish unheard of feats at his young age. Reynolds names Van Homan as his favorite street and ramp rider. A true male teenager, Reynolds enjoys indulging in the occasional fast food meal at Burger King. His sense of humor and bubbly personality make him down to earth and relatable.

Garrett Reynolds' Career Highlights

Some of Reynolds career highlights include winning the Taz Tour at 12 years old and going pro the next year. In 2007, Reynolds took the prize at X Games Brazil, X Games Mexico and X Games Dubai. In 2009, Reynolds was named the X Games street champion and NORA Street Rider of the Year. He continued his winning streak when he took home the Dew Cup at the end of 2009 for the first time. Reynolds won Simpel Session in both 2008 and 2009. The first time Reynolds recorded a perfect score was in Los Angeles at the BMX freestyle street final at Home Depot Center. Reynolds was in competition with his childhood role model Van Homan who he says is still one of his biggest inspirations.
