Torey Pudwill

Known as one of the top freestyle street skaters in the world, Torey Pudwill began to latch onto his passion at the age of 6. Born in 1990, this Simi Valley native went with the flow into a river of skaters and ended up landing on the apex of the concrete jungle. Seemingly drawn to the sport of skating, Torey hung out at Surfin West, the only local skate shop at the time; skate parks had yet to exist in this small, suburban community. Then, in 1997, Skatelab opened its doors and the park became Torey’s new hangout. He honed and crafted his skills there, and before long, he went off to showcase his talents elsewhere. He gained recognition from the skating world shortly thereafter, and he’s been going strong ever since. Also known as “T-Puds” to his friends and fans, they stand on the sidelines hollering as he goes from the Ollie to the sickest of grinds on the rails and tops the run off with an extended manual. His quarter-pipe and ramp skills are just as exciting to watch, not to mention that he’s quite capable of clearing an entire flight of concrete steps. He has traveled across the United States and across the pond as well, wowing fans most everywhere he goes. His career really took off in 2005, when various skateboard magazines such as Transworld, Skateboarder, and Thrasher Magazine started to display full page photos of Torey, getting some serious air. For the last 5 years, his dance card has been filled with events, competitions, video shoots, and interviews.
