John Rattray Skateboarding Videos

John Rattray, a British skateboard sensation who is a current resident of Encinitas, California by way of Aberdeen, Scotland has become a legend in his own time. Being tagged as one of the few professional skateboarders with a college degree, he succeeded in achieving a Physics degree from Glasgow University. Rattray was able to secure a number of sponsors including eS footwear, Elwood and Zero skateboards to name just a few. John originally became a professional skateboarder for the British company Blueprint Skateboards then moved to the American company Zero Skateboards where he became the second rider featured in the film, “Dying to Live”.

John Rattray says he sees himself 25 years from now, “ in the Highlands of Scotland riding around on a fold-up bike, wearing a tweed sports jacket but only as a disguise, and probably teaching kids calculus or maybe I’ll run a business tirelessly attempting to fill that void.” Many years from retirement, we can continue to watch his amazing feats which display true greatness in his field of skateboarding.
