About Keenan Milton

Keenan Milton was a professional skateboarder from New York City. He was born on August 4, 1974 and died as the result of a drowning accident at an Independence Day party on July 4, 2001. Old video footage of Keenan was used in several videos even after his death.

His sponsors included DVS shoes and Chocolate skateboards. He was known for his switch skill and much of his style was truly unique. He has appeared in many videos such as ones for Chocolate Skateboards in 1995 and 2003, Girl Skateboards in 1996 and 2003, and The Chocolate Skateboard Tour in 1999.

Due to his premature death, his life was cut very short but he did squeeze in quite a bit in 26 years. There are many tribute pages on the web and rap artist Murs says "Rest in peace Keenan Milton" in his song "Transitions as a Rider." He is still looked up to and remembered to this day by many people.
