Mike Wright was born in Hebben Bridge in England. Mike Wright is an up and coming popular professional skater. His talent has produced many sponsors for him, such as Nike SB Europe, Blueprint, Kr3w Clothing, Hubba and Krux. He has been in several events and competed well enough to place. He competed in the Tampa AM on Friday January 18, 2008 and placed 43rd out of 110 skaters. He also was in the Amsterdam Am 2008 Street Qualifiers on Friday July 18, 2008 and placed 40th out of 76 skaters.

He placed 76th out of 82 skaters on Saturday July 25, 2009 in the Amsterdam AM 2009 Street Qualifiers. The most current competition that Mike Wright competed in was the Amsterdam AM 2009 Street Best Trick on Sunday July 26, 2009 and he placed 3rd out of 5 skaters. After these results in so many competitions, his star potential can go nowhere but up.
