Rock to fakie is a trick that is done on skateboards and snowboards. A rock to fakie is a trick where the rider goes up onto a lip or coping of a quarter or halfpipe and stalls with the edge of the lip in the middle of the board. The rider then rocks the board down towards the nose before going back down the pipe in the opposite direction they rode up.

To execute the rock to fakie begin by placing your front foot just ahead of the front trucks and your back foot across the tail of the board. Get enough speed to make it up the ramp and get the middle of the board on the coping. This will be the tricky part as the first instinct is to stop as soon as the front trucks clear the coping.

Once the middle of the board is teetering on the lip, lean forward to rock before leaning back over the tail of the board to ride down the ramp fakie.
