Thrashermagazine.com is a website dedicated to all facets of the skateboarding culture. The original print version of Thrasher Magazine was created in 1981 by Fausto Vitello and Kevin Thatcher.

Thrashermagazine.com offers everything from skateboarding videos, skateboard equipment and clothing, skate park reviews, interviews, skate videos and pictures, as well as interviews with some of the top names in skateboarding. The online magazine, like the print magazine before it, also offers articles on new music and events that would be of particular interest to the skate community. Since 1990, Thrasher Magazine has given out the prestigious Skater of the Year award. Readers of the print and online magazine vote for their favorite skater, and the one with the most votes gets the coveted title. Past recipients have included Tony Hawk (the first ever recipient of the award), Bob Burnquist, Daewon Song, and the only two skaters to ever have double wins, Danny Way and Chris Cole.

Thrasher Magazine is also responsible for creating the King of the Road Competition, in which 4 teams of professional skaters are given a book of challenges, and two weeks to travel the globe completing the goals.
