About Tommy Sandoval
Tommy Sandoval is a Pro skateboarder who shows no fear. This is exactly why he is willing to push his skateboard to the limit each time he jumps on it and what has made him a star. He has been participating in skateboarding since 1998 and has been a competitor since 2006. With a ‘Die trying’ Tattoo across his chest, Tommy is known to have total disregard for pain each time he skates.
His lack of fear and pain are shown by his relentless attacks on the rails, gaps and ledges while skateboarding. Tommy is 5’ 10 and weighs 170 pounds. He is currently single, and lives in the ghetto area of San Diego, California.
Tommy Sandoval’s first pro competition was the X Games of ’06. While he did not make the finals he did finish with a memorable 12th place. While his friends tease him for driving a used limo, Tommy simply shrugs it off. He jokingly describes himself as being ‘50 percent white’. Then he says, "I am 40 percent black, eight percent Mexican with one percent Native American" And he says “don’t’ forget to add a dash of caveman and sprinkle of pit bull.” This makes you wonder; does Tommy Sandoval fear the gaps, ledges and bowls? Or do they fear him? We believe the latter to be true.
