Transworld Skate is a skateboarding website that originally started as just a magazine. It was founded in 1983 in California. Although it originated as a skateboarding magazine, there are now different magazines for surfing, bmx, snowboarding and many other extreme sports.
The magazine was geared towards younger audiences. The other famous magazine was Thrasher which usually featured half naked women and drugs and alcohol.
