Volcom: Rolling with the European WITP Finalists in Arizona

Last weekend the Volcom Stone’s 2010 Global Wild in the Parks Championships went down at Peoria AZ’s Rio Vista Skatepark! After nearly 40 qualifying stops around North America, Europe and Australia, the best amateur skateboarders in the world collided to test their mettle against one another for bragging rights and a piece of $25,000.00 cash! After winning The European WITP Championships in Prague, Axel Cruysberghs, Kevin Bækkel and Tomáš Ondrejka jumped on a plane to defend the European honor in the Global finals. Street League: Kicks off 28th Aug

Check out the pros warming up the other week. Street league kicks off tomorrow (28th aug 2010) Street League sees 24 of the worlds top pros enter exclusively into the leagues new format which scraps the traditional jam format for a much more sophisticated trick by trick scoring system. Street League features an action sports first with it's revenue share program. Each skater will benefit directly from the success of the Street League. Battling it out for a total prize purse of $1.2m and a 1st place prize packet of $150,000 they have got a lot to fight for. i almost passed out when we stumbled on this spot, its on the edge of the desert in arizona, we found a baby rattle snake behind the back of this, i saw this on the santa cruz video wheels of fire over 20 years ago, so stoked to have gotten to skated it, sick!!!!
