Blue skies and sunshine are welcoming visitors of the freestyle.ch at Landiwiese this morning. While yesterday heavy rain showers forced the organizers to cancel the FMX and the skateboarding qualifications these contests can be held today. In order to fit the tight program the best 4 will directly qualify for the finals that will be held as planned. The crowd&#xu2;019s favorite, Sandro Dias, dominated in skateboarding. The Brazilian impressed with a remarkable consistency, incredibly high airs and perfect alley oop 540°s. His last win at freestyle.ch was back in 2008. The audience cheered him on with all they got, so he really wanted to finally win again this year. And he did!!

The 16th annual freestyle.ch Zurich was a hit despite the weather. 28,000 freestyle fans gathered at the Landiwiese to cheer on their freestyle superstars. The crowd&#xu2;019s favorite, Sandro Dias, dominated in skateboarding. The Brazilian impressed with a remarkable consistency, incredibly high airs and perfect alley oop 540°s. «My last win at freestyle.ch was back in 2008. The audience here always did such a good job of cheering me on, so I really wanted to finally win again this year. I was pretty nervous and decided lean on the side of caution &#xu2;013 and it went perfect, I'm on cloud nine!» says Dias. Runner-Up is Juergen Horrwarth (GER) and Adam Taylor (USA) finishes 3rd.

Temperatures were close to the boiling point on July 2010, when manual specialists from all over the country gathered for the Red Bull Manny Mania Swiss Final on Turbinenplatz in Zurich. A trip to the World Amateur Finals in NYC was set as prize and the three skaters Sebo Hepp (3rd), Chrigi Zemp (2nd) and Philip 'Fibi' Kueng (1st) had a head to head battle for this ticket in the end. Alongside several nose manual flipout tricks Zemp's program comprised a switch flip manny flip out at the superior table - unfortunately just seconds after the closing bell. Sebo showed his classics as flip bs smith to manny. 21 years old Fibi surprised the judges with several combos and an incredible board control - 180 fakie manual revert half-cab flip out or bs 180 nosegrind revert to manny are just some examples for that.
