Sammy Carlson is a 20 year old pro skier from Trigard, Oregon. Carlson is known for his new generation style, with many awe-inspiring stunts during his slope style routines. Although mainly a slope style skier, he has begun to broaden his skill set to include back country.

Sammy Carlson has also been featured in many ski films which include: "Hood Ratz", "War", and "Teddy Bear Crisis". Carlson has earned some very prestigious awards during his short career, the most noteworthy being when he placed first in the 2005 Paul Mitchell Freeski Tour in slope style.

Carlson is currently working on more ski films while on the pro tour, he has had some recent releases called "Yeah Dude" and "Seven Sunny Days". Sammy Carlson is currently sponsored by Salomon, Oakley, and Giro, and Rockstar Energy Drink. Just recently, Carlson competed in the 2009 X Games in Aspen, Colorado, where he placed 2nd in slope style amongst the best competitors in the world. Carlson will continue to be a big success on the pro tour for years to come.
