About Andre Kuhlmann
Born November 30, 1981 in Garmisch, Germany, Andre Kuhlmann has become one of the most recognized professional freestyle snowboarders. Andre Kuhlmann is also known as Jorma, a name given to him by a Finnish man when he was 19. Originally Andre started skiing, then switched to snowboarding with his friends, and has helped take it to the next level with his SW BS 1080. Andre has grown in popularity internationally with his aerial antics and abilities on rails, as he rides goofy on his FTWO Random. In an incident in 2005 he hurt the ACL in his left leg, and in another incident in 2006 he dislocated his shoulder.
Andre Kuhlmann is part of the Isenseven team and has also been featured in many of Isenseven's releases, including the winning release for the 2009 Oakley Jib-Vid. Andre has compiled a list of sponsors for everything from boards from FTWO, Headgear from Smith, and clothing by both Villa Wool and O'Neill.
