The British surfer's greatest obstacle has long been been the cold. But with waves like these, it's worth enduring an ice-cream headache or two! Mitch and Egor head to the North East of England to surf Britain's coldest waves. While there they meet with local surfer Nick Noble and gain an insight into how surfers of all eras have tackled the elements - from home made wet-suits to woolly jumpers and rubber gloves. Film by Ernesto Kelly/Surf Devil.com Benjamin Sanchis and Eric Ribiere won the event, Gabe Davies too Best Barrel, his tow partner Richie Fitzgerald took Worst Wipe-out and Easkey Britton won the female devision since she was the only girl to take it on. Top of the Irish crews was Peter Conroy and Glyn Ovens with Al Mennie and Andrew Cotton coming in 2nd.
