Starting just after sunrise at Steamer Lane to finish off the Round of 96, the event packed up and headed up the coast to the beach break of Waddell Creek to plough through the Round of 48. Then just to finish things off, it returned back to the Lane to get stuck into the man-on-man heats in the Round of 24 until the sun set. Jordy Smith who currently sits at number 6 on the ASP World Ranking took the final wildcard position at this ASP PRIME event and advanced with ease through to the Round of 24. Currently in the lead but out of the competition is Brent Dorrington. However still in the running in order of current standing are Adam Melling, Willian Cardoso, Miguel Pupo and Tom Whitaker.
http://video.mpora.com//watch/Xd5e46IHy http://video.mpora.com//watch/Xd5e46IHy Sun, 30 Oct 2011 01:49:03 +0000 O’Neill Cold Water Classic 2011 - California - Highlights of Day 3 oneill,contest,series,asp,extreme,classic,jordy smith,surf,finale,adam melling,josh kerr,brent dorrington,jarrad howse,cold water,steamer lane,mason ho,bede durbridge,santa curz,most classic,masatoshi ohno, quattro_media oneill,contest,series,asp,extreme,classic,jordy smith,surf,finale,adam melling,josh kerr,brent dorrington,jarrad howse,cold water,steamer lane,mason ho,bede durbridge,santa curz,most classic,masatoshi ohno, quattro_media@mpora.com< O’Neill Cold Water Classic 2011 - California - Highlights of Day 2

Once again it was the setting for a perfect day of competition - clear blue skies, and whales out in the bay - on day two of the O’Neill Cold Water Classic, Santa Cruz. A high tide meant that despite at 7am start for the call, Steamer Lane wasn’t working its magic until after lunch when local surfer Jonny Craft got into the water and took out the first heat of the day. With current Series leader Brent Dorrington out of the event Adam Melling is now eyeing up the $50,000 prize money on offer to the CWC Series winner as he sits a mere 920 points behind Brent. And he made his intent known in the early stages of his heat, pulling out the highest wave score of the event with a 9.50. Another fighter out in the water was Josh Kerr. Sitting in first, he picked up an interference and slid down to 4th place. And then pulled out the second highest wave score of the event, a 9.30!
http://video.mpora.com//watch/TRGVDt85L http://video.mpora.com//watch/TRGVDt85L Sat, 29 Oct 2011 01:40:38 +0100 O’Neill Cold Water Classic 2011 - California - Highlights of Day 2 oneill,asp,cold water,classic,series,coldest,surf,contest,santa cruz,steamer lane,finale,most classic,adventure,jarrad howse,jonny craft,adam melling,josh kerr,brent dorrington,mitch coleborn,john john florence, quattro_media oneill,asp,cold water,classic,series,coldest,surf,contest,santa cruz,steamer lane,finale,most classic,adventure,jarrad howse,jonny craft,adam melling,josh kerr,brent dorrington,mitch coleborn,john john florence, surfersmag@mpora.com< 2 Hours at Lowers

Only 2 hours of filming, but great action Josh Kerr, Taj Burrows, Brett Simpson, Carissa Moore, Alejo Muniz, Damien Fahrenfort, Luke Davis, Jadson Andre and Miguel Pupo 1HourinHB.com
http://video.mpora.com//watch/VZtuT6ed3 http://video.mpora.com//watch/VZtuT6ed3 Fri, 16 Sep 2011 08:57:04 +0100 2 Hours at Lowers trestles,lowers,carissa moore,josh kerr,taj burrows,alejo muniz,jadson andre,brett simpson,damien fahrenfort,miguel pupo,luke davis, surfersmag trestles,lowers,carissa moore,josh kerr,taj burrows,alejo muniz,jadson andre,brett simpson,damien fahrenfort,miguel pupo,luke davis, Renners@mpora.com< THE SINGLE LIFE

The Rusty team recently went to Bali armed with single fins, Josh Kerr rewrote the history book with combos of futuristic manoeuvres on a single fin, airs, reverses, fin-chucks and gaffs were the norm.
http://video.mpora.com//watch/05kuJbtwT http://video.mpora.com//watch/05kuJbtwT Thu, 30 Jun 2011 10:57:30 +0100 THE SINGLE LIFE rusty,josh kerr, Renners rusty,josh kerr, Renners@mpora.com< Film: The Kerrazy Kronicles

JOSH KERR has had a busy 12 months.
