The girls enjoy their last days on Hainan before they have to head home and take the chance to explore the beautiful island. They visit a Buddhist temple, get a glimpse of the Chinese culture and also have a chance to catch a monkey show!

The cleanest conditions of the week greeted competitors this morning as Riyuewan Beach stacked up with shimmering, ruler-edged lines. Male and female invitees to the Noserider Division were provided the perfect blank canvas in the form of ultra clean shoulder-high peeling lefts to exhibit their finest footwork, with the judging criteria simple: riding the nose. Christian Wach (USA) emerged victorious after a closely fought final, and picked up $3500 for his troubles. Harrison Roach (AUS) finished in close second, putting his body on the line in the name of performance. He dislocated his shoulder while falling on his board, popped it in himself and kept on surfing! Swatch ProTeam rider Kassia Meador (USA) finished 3rd. The noserider division was the exciting conclusion of a historic week for surfing, with the SWATCH GIRLS PRO CHINA hosted by Wanning being the first time international pro competition has ever been staged in China.

Williams wins in China, Steinriede on top of the world, local surf community shares the stoke! A timely overnight pulse in swell and offshore winds groomed shoulder to head high wave faces at Riyuewan Beach for finals day of the SWATCH GIRLS PRO CHINA hosted by Wanning. Beachgoers were treated to another display of cutting edge longboard riding from the very finest female talents. A healthy crowd lining the beach on the southeast coast of Hainan Island watched Chelsea Williams win the event, whilst Lindsay Steinriede was crowned 2011 ASP Women's Longboard World Champion.

CHINA GETS ITS FIRST TASTE OF PROFESSIONAL SURFING The SWATCH GIRLS PRO China hosted by Wanning launched professional surfing in China today with the world's best female longboarders putting on a spectacular show at Riyuewan Bay, Hainan Island. The 3-4 foot (1.5 meter) waves were ideal for surfers to unleash their full bags of tricks, much to the delight of Chinese spectators, many of whom were watching the sport for the time. Hainan Island is home to more than 7,000,000 Chinese, with an area of 13,500 square miles. It's year-round tropical climate and miles of white sandy coastline have earned it the moniker "China's Hawaii". The SWATCH Girls Pro China is the second of two events on the ASP Women's World Longboard Tour and will decide the 2011 ASP Women's World Longboard Champion.

For the first time in history the Association of Surfing Professionals (ASP) will bring surfing to The People's Republic of China with the SWATCH GIRLS PRO China hosted by Wanning! Running from October 26 through 30, 2011, the ASP Women's World Longboard Title event will grace the City of Wanning on the Island of Hainan, and have the honour of crowning the 2011 ASP Women's World Longboard Champion.
